Scaling in a rapidly evolving industry

As BCB Group sought to expand its services across multiple geographies, products, and volumes, it faced the challenge of scaling its core infrastructure to support this growth. The company needed a robust, flexible core banking solution that could handle increasing demand while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency. While developing an in-house solution was considered, the complexity of the task and the need for agility and rapid go-to-market led BCB Group to explore external SaaS-based options.

Seamless core platform and payments integration

BCB Group selected Mambu’s as its core banking platform after evaluating multiple vendors. Mambu's platform stood out due to its quick and seamless two-way integration with BCB Group’s payments platform using APIs and webhooks.

Mambu’s “Bank in a Box” solution will support BCB Group to not only expand its payments offerings but also prepare for future product additions beyond payments with the Mambu core acting as the backbone for all operations. With Mambu’s support, BCB Group can integrate efficiently into the SEPA payment system, laying a strong foundation for scalable growth.

The impact

Strong foundation for service growth

With the integration of Mambu’s core banking platform and Mambu Payments solution, BCB Group expects to streamline their entire operations–covering both their core banking infrastructure and payments processing. Initially, this combined solution will allow them to expand their payments product set, with Mambu providing the foundational core infrastructure and connectivity to the SEPA scheme targeted for the autumn of 2025. Future plans include SEPA Direct Debit and SWIFT connectivity.
